| The Town of Indialantic, Florida was created pursuant to Chapter 73-129, Laws of Florida, in 1952. The Town, comprised of 3,059 residents, is essentially built-out as a residential community with commercial properties along the two major state roads-i.e. US-192 and SR-A1A. It has a height limit of 30 feet, or 2 stories, for most of the Town with a 35 feet, or 3 stories, limit for commercially or tourist zoned properties. Certain properties have been redeveloped over recent years with the Zoning & Planning Board reviewing four non-single family site plans per year. No comprehensive plan changes have been submitted to the State for consideration since 1999. |
