| Flagler County is a county with an estimated population of 76,410, as of 2005. Its county seat is Bunnell, but it also includes Beverly Beach and Flagler Beach. It comprises the Palm Coast Metropolitan Statistical Area. Flagler County was created in 1917 and named for Henry Morrison Flagler, who built the Florida East Coast Railway. The total area is 571 square miles with 86 square miles of water. |
