Hobe Sound is a small community located along Florida's south Atlantic "Treasure Coast." This area at the top of Palm Beach County and including Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River Counties is one of Florida's most quiet. It's dotted with small, friendly towns and unspoiled, pristine beaches. The beaches along Hobe Sound are sought out by nesting sea turtles, and you can join local tour groups to watch the creatures laying their eggs in the sand. Hobe Sound offers beach activities such as swimming, scuba diving, sunbathing and beachcombing. There is also hiking, biking, nearby golf and flea markets, all while enjoying some of the most beautiful weather in the country. The town of Vero Beach with its upscale shops and fine dining is just a short drive from Hobe Sound. |
