Mulberry is making the most of its location and industrial background, and serves as host to a number of new growth businesses, manufacturing an increasingly diverse array of products. Only 6 square miles in size, Mulberry is home to about 1,650 residents. During recent years, Mulberry has begun to feel the commercial impact of Lakeland, its large neighbor to the north. New shopping facilities are being developed along highway 37, which forms the city's major north-south thoroughfare. State Road 60, which links the Tampa Bay area to Florida's east coast, also passes through the city. |
