| Gulf Breeze is in Santa Rosa County, and is a suburb of Pensacola. It is more water than land, only 4.8 square miles is land and the rest of the 23.5 square miles is all water. In 2004, its population was 6,333. In 1987, Gulf Breeze became famous for several UFO sightings, therefore it is also known as the UFO Capital of the United States. In addition, Gulf Breeze is one of seven "strict enforcement areas" for traffic laws. |
