| Cartersville is a city in Bartow County, Georgia, in the United States. It was named after Col. Farrish Carter. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 15,925. Growth is evident as the community's population rose to 21,274 as of the 2005 census. Although unofficial, Cartersville will most-likely become a micropolitan area in 2007. |
